Lifecoach eCourses is a special feature on the Lifecoach.io platform that enables Coaches to create, promote & sell (or give away!) high quality online coaching courses.
What is an eCourse?
A Lifecoach eCourse is an online teaching / coaching delivery method that allows Coaches to pass on specialist knowledge, on all kinds of topics, to students who want to learn on their own schedule, wherever they are in the world.
eCourses can be 100% video based, 100% article based or a combination of these two mediums.
eCourses are made up of sections and sections are made up of lectures. So lectures can either be videos or articles and when you put them all together, in your own special way, they can transfer knowledge from you to your students all over the world (as long as they speak your language of course!).
What can I teach / coach?
The short answer is almost anything! We ask Coaches to put courses into one of our very high level categories, simply to help students (and search engines) to discover them, but these categories should give you the flexibility you need to fill your own niche and target your ideal students with the subject that you're an expert in! So if you coach on any particular topic, and you think you can package that knowledge into a course that allows students to follow along at their own pace, on their own schedule, you can (and should!) create an eCourse.
Can you help me to create my first eCourse?
Absolutely! That's what we're here for, and we've built the Lifecoach platform to make the process as simple as possible. You don't need to be a technical expert or have any specialist / expensive equipment in order to create a very high quality eCourse.
We're constantly working on improving our tips, FAQs and user guide to arm you with all of the information you need to create your first eCourse, promote it and make it a huge success.
Will I get paid?
Absolutely, if you make your eCourse paid of course. eCourses can be 100% free, 100% paid or (coming soon) a combination. So for example, you could 'normally' sell your course but give it away for free or at a reduced price to certain people via voucher codes if you wish. Read more about how payouts work here.
Are there any fees?
There is no fee to create and host an eCourse on Lifecoach, and as a Coach, you can publish as many free or paid eCourses as you like. We believe in a sustainable partnership, where Coaches are rewarded for creating amazing content and bringing students to the platform, and Lifecoach is rewarded for driving new students to our Coaches. To facilitate this, Lifecoach is built on a shared payment model where revenue on eCourse sales is split between the Coach (you) and the platform (Lifecoach) depending on who drives each sale.
